Well we kind of jumped the gun and got our trees trimmed before the official word from the city was given. We got a call saying that it all looked good so we went ahead and told the Arborist to cut. We thought we had covered all our bases, had both neighbors on board, and a plan in place…little did we know that the city would decline our application for the tree permit. UGH! We are now working to fix this situation so hopefully we can move forward!
We also had him tear out the bushes and the arbor in the back…our little house looks pretty pitiful right now!

UPDATE: Regarding the permits for the whole project…We have gotten the “everything looks good” from the city, but do not have the actual permits in hand. So after all the tree stuff, we are not touching the house until we have the signed documents in hand! Lets hope it is soon…I am ready to start!
