DIY Patio Table Progress

The gorgeous Texas spring weather has motivated us to build the patio table that we want! I searched for one to buy but the size or look was not what we wanted and what I did find was $3K which was $3K over budget! So we searched Google for the right tutorial and landed on a Lowe's Weekend Project youtube video.  We went to Lowe's, picked out some cedar and got to work sanding, staining, and protecting.  We have definitely learned a lot through this process but so far we love the outcome.  We built a bench first that can be pushed under the table so we could mess up on it first...but we didn't and it is very sturdy! Don't mind the models...we were very excited and sent these to out family just to show them that it worked!

As far as the table goes, pocket holes are dilled and hopefully we will be assembling the table tomorrow night! Our goal is to eat dinner on the patio Saturday night...crossing fingers!
